A.V.L.S. (Automated Vehicle Location System)
Trakit is a web enables
robust and cost – effective Automatic Vehicle Location System (AVLS)
providing vehicle specific data anywhere, anytime.
Trakit combines vehicle specific
location information with a two – way communication system. Trakit is a simple
end – to – end solution that is easy to install and add new service of
features as required
AVLS Trackit Service can
be provided to the general public as well as
organizations, Ministries, and any individual with a vehicle.
The Customer has only to install an AVLS Box and two antennas on his
vehicle to be able to track it anywhere and at any given time. Messaging service
can be added with Vehicle Tracking service. Each AVLS box is indexed by a Serial Identification Number (BOX SIN),
also each box has a unique LLI Number. The AVLS box contains two modems for
sending and receiving signals. The modems are not taken into consideration and
the AVLS Box is regarded as the main entity in the system. The Trackit
Management System should keep a record for each
AVLS box, Customers, so that it will be easy for the staff customer and
manage
the AVLS service and how it is operating. The AVLS Boxes system should keep the history
of each transaction
for all the entities in the system (AVLS Boxes, Customers). There would be different levels of operating
the Trackit Management System. It will be organized as groups of users. Each Group will be assigned
some rights and privileges according to the group requirements
